[OPEN-ILS-DEV] staff client error

I was getting an error like this when I named the server I was trying to log in on correctly.  I kept trying:

libopen.uchicago.edu

I kept getting the error, but someone else could get on.  Later I tried:

libopen

Bingo, I got on.  Dale said this had to do with some places where he set the name of the server and had set it without the full domain.  So maybe it's the form of the name of the server.  I was able to get OK for status and version with the wrong form of name, but it wouldn't actually log on till it had the name it wanted.

That was indeed a good solution that worked. Thanks, Cyrus.

I am getting an error when I try to login with the default "admin"
login. The error indicates:

method=open-ils.auth.authnticate.init
Params=[admin]
THROWN:
network failure status = <unknown>...

Any ideas where to look for this solution?
