[OPEN-ILS-DEV] Certificate question

When I create the SSL certificate it is only good for one month right? Well
mine expired on 5/24/08 so I ran the openssl command again to generate
another certificate but that didn't update the current certificate so I am
getting a certificate expired warning when logging into the client. I even
tried to remove the old certificate and create a new one with the same
results. I imported the new certificate into my machine that I am using to
run the client and it still gives me that warning. What do I need to do to
generate a new certificate that will be recognized by the client and can it
be longer than 1 month?
