I was less agressive about reducing the image size with the 1.2.2.1
vmware image, so the package manager will work fine in that version.

In the 1.2.2.0 image, I believe I ran something rather drastic like
"rm -fr /var/cache/apt". Running "mkdir -p /var/cache/apt/archive"
might enable you to run "aptitude update" and then "aptitude install
openvpn"; I haven't tested that, though.
