[OPEN-ILS-DEV] Assistance requested: editing WMV for yesterday's webinar

Dear folks, I have a nice recording for yesterday's well-attended webinar
about Vandelay, the new record importer-exporter, but with my limited video
editing experience I'm having trouble trimming it -- I've been through
various editors and ended up with files that won't save correctly, end up
blurry, freeze halfway through encoding, etc.
If you have experience with video editing, I'd love assistance. I can put
the file where you can get to it. It's an hour-long WMV, and yes, it does
need a little trimming at the end for reasons I won't go into that had to do
with my response when I thought the file was trashed. ;-) ("The Community
Librarian said WHAT?!") Plus it could use just a tiny bit of trimming at the
beginning so it begins with voices, not keyboards clicking. Extra credit if
you can slide in a title and credit to give the video context (title, date,
reason, etc. -- I can provide the text).
(If you're wondering why it's a WMV, that's because GoToWebinar records in
two formats--its own, and WMV. At least WMV can be read by other programs,
and the original file is clear as a bell--perhaps TOO clear. ;> )
