[OPEN-ILS-DEV] Error when creating items

Forget it. His problem was caused by a lack of Shelving Location. I have the default copy_location plus one that I added and I get an error using either one when I try to save the item. Phooey. FM

Say, Is Robert still on this list? This is the problem I am seeing and he saw it last March. Just can't find the message where he must have solved it ...

Robert, are you out there? Do you remember? Thanks.

Frances

Subject: [OPEN-ILS-DEV] Error when creating items

Hi all,

I have everything up and running and I've created some test information such as MARC or bibliographical records and I'm trying to put items with barcodes into them. I can get to where I type in the barcodes but then when I click on create copies it gives me this error:

Network/server failure. Please check your Internet connection to evergreen and choose Retry Network. If you need to enter Offline Mode, choose Ignore Errors in this and subsequent dialogs. If you believe this error is due to a bug in Evergreen and not network problems, please contact your helpdesk or friendly Evergreen admins, and give them this information:

STATUS:

I know it isn't the connection to the server because I am able to log on and navigate through the menu's of the client. I'm using Evergreen version 1.2.1.3<http://1.2.1.3> which was installed on Debian using John Schmidt's install script and I'm using the 1.2.1.4<http://1.2.1.4> evergreen client. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Robert
