[OPEN-ILS-DEV] spine labels update request

Can someone give me an update on who, if anyone, is working actively now on solving the problems relating to LC-type spine labels?
We're considering putting some developer hours here into working on this over the next couple of months or so but don't want to duplicate efforts others already have underway.
