I can't access!

Try restarting the server once again and follow these instructions to start up they work for me.
Switch to user postgres or your postgres users

Make Sure
ejabberd and memcached are running as the root user
sudo /etc/init.d/ejabberd start will tell you if the service is already running do the same with memcached

Become the opensrf user
osrf_ctl.sh -l -a start_all

Become root restart apache
sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

Then see if it works.

Depending on how you installed postgreSQL I installed from source

ok, restarted.

Some details:

opensrf_router is pegged at 100% cpu doing
nothing in ‘top’

I can do an srfsh login admin nelinet3 and
it works, so it isn’t completely hosed

Ubuntu 8.4.10 server, and it all worked
yesterday….Did a reboot this morning, saw the server status error, and it has
been going downhill from there

I also received

Network or Server failure

THROWN:

Network Failure: status=200

service=open-ils.auth&method=open-ils.auth.authenticate.init&param=%22admin%22

Status: 200

But I received this error before strange
enough I can't even test your hostname now.

What OS are you using?

Ok, I am sure I did that, but I did it
again, and got another level deeper in the mire…

I even tried to sp and restart opensrf,
just in case

Now, I can test the evergreen server in
the client, but if I try to login, I get:

Network or Server failure

THROWN:

Network Failure: status=200

service=open-ils.auth&method=open-ils.auth.authenticate.init&param=%22admin%22

Status: 200

====================================

Actually, what you were seeing is from
what I posted this morning.

Internal users can test server just fine,
but outside users get what you are seeing…….

I have posted 2 problems, (now 3)  J

I just tried getting into your test server I think I may have
found your problem, When I test the hostname the files for my version of the
staff client are not found (version 1.4.0.4). Are you sure that you ran this as
the root user

cd /home/opensrf/Evergreen-ILS-1.4.0.4

make STAFF_CLIENT_BUILD_ID=rel_1_4_0_4 install

cp /openils/conf/opensrf.xml.example /openils/conf/opensrf.xml

cp /openils/conf/opensrf_core.xml.example /openils/conf/opensrf_core.xml

chown -R opensrf:opensrf /openils/
