[OPEN-ILS-DEV] Opensrf install issues.

Hello I'm really close to having a working install of opensrf on RHEL 4
Update 7. 
When I enter the srf shell and attempt to test it with srfsh# request
opensrf.math add 2 2
I get "Unable to communicate with service opensrf.math"

In the srfsh.log:

srfsh 2009-03-19 14:02:23 [WARN:24718:osrf_stack.c:30:] transport_client
had trouble reading from the socket..

over and over...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
