[OPEN-ILS-DEV] OpenSRF Install

I have worked through the docs and keep getting this:

opensrf at DevBox:~$ osrf_ctl.sh -l -a start_all
/openils/bin/osrf_ctl.sh: line 21: whoami: command not found
/openils/bin/osrf_ctl.sh: line 21: [: !=: unary operator expected
/openils/bin/osrf_ctl.sh: line 90: find: command not found
/openils/bin/osrf_ctl.sh: line 92: --sysconfdir: command not found
Please specify the location of the opensrf_core.xml file using the -c  
flag

When I get to testing.

I suspect that I have incorrectly set this:

echo "export PATH=/openils/bin:\$PATH" >> ~/.bashr
Since I don't quite understand how this should be formatted.
