[OPEN-ILS-DEV] E-mail notifications

I was looking on the wiki and was not able to find much about configuring
evergreen to send out hold notifications and other types of notifications
that Evergreen supports. What is the preferred package to send email with
the use of a SMTP relay? Maybe postfix or sendmail! How can I configure
Evergreen to send notifications?
