[OPEN-ILS-DEV] Improved installer project?

Hi all,

First off -- hi! I'm new to Evergreen and hope to make some
contributions before too long.

I've started to cobble together a Puppet-based installation script
so that (together with OpenVZ) I can set up and tear down development
and testing servers easily. I'm also looking to create an installation
target for Debian squeeze; it seems to package many more dependencies
than lenny does.

The docuwiki mentions the idea of an improved installation process vs
the current Makefile.install, but I can't seem to find any list
traffic suggesting that anyone has tackled it yet. Is that right?

Cheers,
Rick

for what we need is not the semblance of health, but real health.
