The installation passed the tests in the instructions

 (
http://www.open-ils.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=server:1.6.1:install&s[]=in
stall&s[]=evergreen
<http://www.open-ils.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=server:1.6.1:install&s%5b%
5d=install&s%5b%5d=evergreen> )

up to the point of Testing connections to Evergreen, then unable to
communicate with open-ils.auth.

Shut down the server and restarted Monday morning. The start_all command
put many messages in the logs about opensrf.settings IS NOT CONNECTED TO
THE NETWORK.

[2010-08-23 10:38:58] /usr/sbin/apache2 [ERR :1006:EX.pm:66:] Exception:
OpenSRF::EX::Session 2010-08-23T10:38:58 OpenSRF::Utils::SettingsClient
/usr/local/share/perl/5.10.1/OpenSRF/Utils/SettingsClient.pm:103 Session
Error: router at private.localhost/opensrf.settings IS NOT CONNECTED TO THE
NETWORK!!!

ps -aef | grep OpenSRF gets the two routers only after start_all.

Started the troubleshooting routine in the instructions

(
http://www.open-ils.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=troubleshooting:checking_fo
r_errors)

and got an on-screen error message at the autogen.sh step. What
appeared on-screen is the last entry in the attached osrfsys.log. No
errors were found grep-ing the log files up to this point.
