This is an actual issue that I introduced in my "get rid of
cache-generator.sh and a number of Perl scripts and roll it back
into autogen.sh" commit (hash:
4790c6a0f6896fe2ee77c4040e78eb9567ba4d18).

I've pushed a fix for that directly into master in commit
b46a73e15b6848f396dcc8dfa730271952e19f25
