That is correct, we are still using the JavaScript files located in that directory. We are planning to move to the newer method soon, but this is a more immediate need for one of the libraries.

Geoff,

You say you're using "scripts", so am I to assume that means you're still using the legacy circ JavaScript files in /openils/var/circ (most likely)?

That clarification will be crucial to advice on this.

Subject: [OPEN-ILS-DEV] Adding new Circulation Rules to the system.

Hello,

We have a library in our system(running 2.0.10) that wish to add a new circulation rule set to our system. We currently use scripts to execute our circulation modifier settings and they rely on preset circulation rules within the system. They are asking for a configuration that is not currently in the system and I was hoping to find out how one might go about adding a new rule to utilize to the presets within.

They are wishing to run with a rule that would be something like 4_days_4_days_4_days_0_renewals in the system, or something similar to that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I understand that everyone is busy coming back from the conference and buzzing with ideas.

Thanks,
Geoff Sams
