The Evergreen International Conference Selection Committee is pleased to
announce the 2014 Conference will be held in Boston, Massachusetts. The
committee unanimously selected the proposal submitted jointly by
Massachusetts Library Network and Connecticut’s Bibliomation to co-host the
conference. The selection committee was composed of Ben Hyman (British
Columbia), Grace Dunbar (Equinox), Rogan Hamby (South Carolina), Lori Bowen
Ayre (The Galecia Group) and chaired by Jim Corridan( Indiana).
Both Kathy Lussier and Amy Terlaga will co-chair the conference’s planning.
Boston is the cultural, technological and educational center of New
England, which is the site of many current and future Evergreen libraries
and consortia. Home of the first publicly-supported municipal library
system, Boston and its surrounding areas offer many top-notch conference
facilities, as well as a variety of pubs and restaurants, cultural venues,
and historic landmarks to make conference after-hours an enjoyable
experience for all attendees.
Look for more details following the 2013 Conference in British Columbia
coming up in the spring.
