[OPEN-ILS-DEV] Thoughts on having IRC practice meeting

Thanks Galen.

BTW, I was thinking of encouraging that inexperienced members to just use the browser based way to connect to IRC if it is their first time. Though I would like to at some point recommend dedicated IRC software. Does anyone want to share the IRC software they prefer to use?

I am no expert, but on a Mac I use Colloquy, because I noticed others in the EG community using it at some point. I like the feature of having a list of words that I want to know if others have mentioned it on the IRC channel, and I assume most IRC programs have this feature.

Thanks,
Yamil

Finally we can be flexible with the scheduling of this meeting so it does not get in the way of busy times because of upcoming releases and other scheduled IRC meetings.
