Thanks for that. I thought of the issue of licensing right after I sent it and I'm glad you brought it up. The GPLS PINES team is planning to share all such material as we create it so we'll need to think big here. I'll get on that first thing tomorrow morning.

This is really great material! Would you mind placing this under a
license like the Creative Commons Attribution, Share-Alike license
(http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/us/) so that there's no
question about the project's ability to reuse and adapt the material
in the future?
For a work without an explicit license, as I understand it, all rights
are reserved and we theoretically are supposed to ask the copyright
holder for permission every time the work is redistributed or adapted
- and that could get painful relatively quickly for all parties
involved.
As an aside, we should probably add a request for explicit licensing
terms along these lines to the "Community and Contributed
Documentation" section of the wiki. Licensing isn't particularly fun
for most people but it's critically important to the project.
