[OPEN-ILS-DOCUMENTATION] conference request and DIG facilitator

Good day everyone,

There are a couple of things that I needed to email to everyone.

First, on a practical matter, the conference committee reached out to me
because they would like for their to be a documentation hackfest as part of
the conference and also a DIG meeting. Due to personal limitations, I will
not be able to attend this year's conference.

Is there anyone who among us who is attending the conference and would be
willing to head these two events?

Second, I'm afraid that I must step aside as DIG facilitator. At the time
that I stepped forward, I wanted to stay involved in the wider Evergreen
community and this seemed like a place where there was a need and where
what knowledge and talents I had could be put to good use.
Then last year I took a job in a non-evergreen library that was very
demanding, and I thought the demands of that job might improve with time
and now I am finding that they are only increasing. Couple that with a
recent illness in my family, and I find that I am simply unable to maintain
all of the commitments that I signed up for.

Thank you for the encouragement over the last couple of years. As I am
able I will be in touch, and when my life is where I can, I will try to
contribute to this project that means so much to all of us.

Thank you.
