Kevin:

To my knowledge, you have to have an OCLC membership to access their
database. They charge for each record that is searched. 

I am not sure about LC, however. Some helpful links:

Well, so far I am very impressed with Evergreen.  I have created a
couple of patrons, and put created a MARC record.  I have however, been
unable to connect to any z39.50 servers.  When I try to connect to LC, I
get this
error: Z 3950_LOGIN_FAILED : null

This is with the username and password blank.

Can anyone point me in the right direction toward setting up
Z39.50Searching?
