Hi John. Just FYI: there is an open enhancement request (bug 166:
http://www.open-ils.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=166 ) to add
the words "Previous" and "Next" (as well as some other things) to the
OPAC. However, this doesn't appear to address the issue you
specifically raised.
I believe the OPAC is Bill's domain (at least it appears that way in
BugZilla!). Because I'm not sure (if/how frequently) he monitors this
list, I'm CC'ing this reply to him (if you get it in duplicate Bill,
my apologies).
Just for the record, I agree with you on this issue. Having a
navigation bar at the bottom of the search (in addition to the top) is
a good idea from a patron POV (the primary user of the PAC).
Especially when working in a low screen resolution and/or a computer
with limited resources (where extra scrolling can lag or take a
while...), I'm sure the patron would appreciate not having to scroll
up to the top.
Thank you for the contribution. If you have any more suggestions or
ideas, please do not hesitate to let us know!
Sincerely Yours,
--Don
