Hi John and all,

John asked:
³My belief -- and please correct me if I'm wrong -- is that most of the
Evergreen libraries are probably conversions from Horizon. ³
PINES libraries were running Sirsi prior to Evergreen.

³Does the lack of acquisitions and serials significantly impact adoption? ³
Absolutely. We have some large public libraries waiting to join PINES that
will need the acquisitions module in place before coming on board. Most
academic libraries have expressed the need for both serials and acquisitions
before seriously considering a move to Evergreen. We have just completed the
initial data-gathering via focus groups for the acquisitions module.
