OK, I just noticed if I go to http://localhostcgi-bin/usr_group-setup.cgi I can make new groups, so I figured that part out. I'll also figured out how to break things :-(. I apparently made the existing default patron group (now renamed TCNJ Patron), a child of itself, and now it doesn't show up. Any idea on how to fix this? I tried going to http://localhost/cgi-bin/usr_group-setup.cgi?action=child&id=2 (which should be the group id), but it just times out.

Subject: Patron Groups
Hello All,
I am trying to test some of the circulation functionality of Evergreen, and I'd like to create some different patron groups (AKA Faculty, Staff, Undergraduate, Graduate, etc.). However, I have no idea how to do this. Searching the documentation, I found http://open-ils.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=evergreen-admin:policies:usergroups and some other documentation, which seem to imply this is possible, but I have not seen anything that gives me enough information to set this up. how does one go about creating different patron groups?
FWIW: My goal is to see if I can set up these groups in such a way that they can have different loan periods. Also, I want to test to see if I can create different circualtor permissions, that will allow circ staff to circulate books for users outside of their library, but not see there details. I already have been able to prevent editing, but I'd really like non-system/library patrons to not have any information besides the basic name and other such stuff displayed at all (i.e. no phone numbers, e-mails, etc.). Does anyone know if this is possible?
Edward
