The Evergreen conference "hackfests" (probably more accurately "anyfests")
are indeed alive and well:

Catherine, as you have a wiki account, feel free to suggest one, add your
name to one, etc.! We only have one topic listed so far (documentation
discussion/Docbook demo), but I hope to see more on this list once we
distribute the conference survey to current registrants later this week. Do
you have a particular topic of interest?
