[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] evergreen install

Hello EL,

Unfortunately, Evergreen is one of the more difficult pieces of software to
install on Linux.  There's as yet no easy package for it, and if your
knowledge of Linux is limited it will probably be very difficult and
frustrating for you to set it up.  Do you have anyone local to where you are
who has good Linux experience?  If so, you might want to ask them to help
you through the install docs.  Alternately, you could try one of the VMWare
virtual server images found on the download page (
http://evergreen-ils.org/downloads.php, about 3/4 of the way down) -- it may
be a lot easier for you to try one of them first.  Good luck!
