I posted analysis of circulation statistics from the day after Memorial Day at
PINES for 2007 and 2008. Memorial Day is a U.S. national holiday that has a
variable date. This year's stats are for Tuesday, May 26, 2009.

Total circs for the day:
106,093

Maximum circs per hour (11AM-12PM):
12,251

All three years had the highest hour from 11AM-12PM.

Maximum circs per minute (1:30PM):
322

Maximum circs per second (1:12:22PM):
19

If the attached spreadsheet makes it to you, it has the three year's of data for
comparison.
