Pertaining to this, a staff client preference was added to disable the
alt+number shortcut keys for switching tabs, so that it wouldn't
happen by accident when folks used ALT codes.

We could make this a library setting to make it easier, but for now
you'd need to do one of two things:

Option 1)

Select Admin -> For Developers -> about:config from the staff client menus.
Choose "I'll be careful, I promise!" to get through the warning screen.
In the Filter box, enter open-ils.disable_accesskeys_on_tabs
Then double-click on the open-ils.disable_accesskeys_on_tabs entry to
toggle the value column to "true"

Option 2)

More for IT folks, but find the prefs.js file in the local build
directory for the staff client.
Edit it and change the entry for open-ils.disable_accesskeys_on_tabs to true.
