We had the same spine label printing issues and gave up. We are presently
using a Word template and typing them manually on sheets of spinals
available from Bro-Dart.

Subject: [OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Spine labels

This is my first posting to the listserv. I am the library consultant for a
small tribal library in Northern California and jumped into Evergreen with
Equinox support a year ago, way over my head. The small library collection
had never been cataloged, so that is what I've primarily been doing for the
past year.

I ran into a problem months ago that I still haven't resolved --- I can't
print out spine or pocket labels. I solicited help from the support desk
but didn't really get what I needed. I was told that the software worked
with Microline 320, an old style dot matrix printer. The project director
is adamantly against getting this although he might approve something that
would support both printing labels and other printing needs. I currently
have an HP Photosmart C5580 printer.

How do others of you get labels printed?

Tisa Jewell
