[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Question about modifying fixed fields in a MARC record

We discovered that we had to delete the information in the box in some cases, particularly the leader, tag number, indicators and subfields, before we were able to put the corrected information.

They are editable. Just a little recalcitrant about it on occasion. Highlight the entry box and you should be able to edit it.

I'm trying to edit a fixed field on a MARC record and although the box is opened (shaded green), I'm unable to type anything into the box. Are the fixed fields editable?
