Vickie,
A large part of the challenge you mention is the migration of data from
your old system into Evergreen. It's certainly a part of getting started
on Evergreen but not strictly speaking an Evergreen issue. A person
moving data from Horizon might have very different issues to face than
someone moving from TLC for example. Because there is no universal
standard for copy level records, patron records and so forth that stuff
will have be mapped from what is was to what it will be.
There's already some advice given about using the IRC group and things
like that but make sure you mention what you're using and the version to
see if you can find someone with experience in doing that migration. They
might save you a lot of grief.
