A small, but important quibble: Evergreen's license is the GPL version 2 
*or later*, at the user's option.  Consequently, I suggest the following 
version:

© 2008-2011 GPLS and others.  Evergreen is open source software,
freely licensed under GNU GPL version 2 or later.  The Evergreen Project 
is a member of the Software Freedom Conservancy.
