[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Hello

Hi,

I am a LIS co-op student working with George Duimovich at Natural Resources Canada.  I am really fortunate to get to work with Evergreen, and I have been enjoying the process thoroughly these last few months.  I started here in May, and I have been sending messages to both dev and general.  However, I never received any replies.  I figured you were all very busy and left it at that.  However, today, with help from one of my co-workers here, I determined that I had a problem with the email I was using to subscribe to these lists.  So, I've changed my email address to one that will allow me to send email to this list.

I have been getting to know Evergreen these last few months, and I hope to be able to help contribute to the project.  I really like Open Source and Free Software, and I have been using Linux and programming for a while now.  I've never used Perl until this May, but I'm getting the hang of it now.  I am not able to join the IRC group here at work, but I hope to install Evergreen on a server I have, and play around with it at home where I will be able to access the IRC chat.
