[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Historical Society Setup

Hello Evergreen,

I am with the Shasta Historical Society in Redding, CA.  We are working
towards automation and seriously considering Evergreen.  We have roughly
30,000 print materials and another 30,000 photographs/negatives/slides.
Will Evergreen handle our materials?  Can the system take a metadata record
and covert it to MARC so we can attach a photo to a record?  We are in a
crunch to get any equipment we may need as we are applying for a grant which
is due Friday.  Also, does Evergreen allow off site searching by the public?

Can Evergreen do what we need?  We are very new to all of this and not sure
if we are asking the right questions.
