Mary,

My library paid for that auth browse development a while ago, but I will answer this second auth browse question first because it is easier. I believe the code was finished after the EG 2.1 beta branch was already created, therefore the auth browse feature was slated to be released officially with EG 2.2. As I recall, the EG 2.2 release was still a long time coming and the TPac was not developed enough so I think that is why it has not been ported to TPac at this point. 

Sadly, my memory is a little hazy, so you might want to wait for a developer to correct me.
