Hi Tina,
I just tried to pick up a late reservation (2 days late) and couldn't. I think you're right. Overnight or longer causes issues.
When I tried to pick up the reservation, I had no reservations to pick up under my name. When I tried to check out the item, I couldn't and got the following error:
FIXME: If you encounter this alert....
FIXME: {"stacktrace":"/openils/lib/perl5/OpenILS/Application/Circ/Circulate.pm:2002
/openils/lib/perl5/OpenILS/Application/Circ/Circulate.pm:1454 /openils/lib/perl5/OpenILS/Application
/Circ/Circulate.pm:303","ilsevent":"7020","pid":"422","desc":"Item reserved for booking request","textcode":"COPY_RESERVED","servertime","Mon Jan 30 11:37:44 2012"} COPY_RESERVED for booking request
I also followed Dan's instructions, including step 4.
Thanks!
Gordana

Hi Tara, Gordana & Dan,
I wonder whether any of you ever wait overnight to check out (pick up)
a "late" reservation.
I have no problem checking out the "late" reservation on the same day
when it becomes late, but not possible the next morning.
I tried it with both catalogued and non-catalogued resources with the
same result.
I did step #4. It changes the item's status to Reshelving. It is not
possible to check in non-catalogued resources.
Since everyone says it works, am I the only one having bad luck? Or
overnight does cause some issue?
Thanks
Tina
