The frequency at which you can run the fine generator will ultimately
depend on the amount of overdue circs you generally have, exactly as
Dan mentions, but also note that fines are assessed at check-in for
any overdue circ to catch the cases where the fine generator hasn't
run yet for that circ. If nearly-immediate update of the "my account"
section of the OPAC isn't a strong concern, the rule change you made
should be enough.
