[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Importing from ISBN

Hi there.

Going on the premise that there is no such thing as a stupid question....so apologies if this is mucho simple!

I am starting my library and want to import all my books (at this point approx 3000).
I plan to scan all the barcodes/isbns and then look them up online, to get all the information I need.
I plan to convert this to a marc record (in its most simplest form)

My question is this - how do I get the information that I will retrieve into Evergreen. I understand that there is a MARC Batch Import, but I am unaware what the format of the batch file will look like?
Or is there a more simple method, that I am missing?
