Hi Tim
If you click on the "Add SSL Exception" button then "Get Certificate" 
and "Confirm Security Exception" you should be able to use the staff 
client. This is a known bug in master/rel_2_3 currently and should be 
resolved before the final 2.3 release. Cheers.
