For our organization, managing expectations and perceptions of prospective libraries is important.
I think that it is wise for this project to consider the marketing and PR side of things, even in ways that may seem insignificant.
In my opinion, especially in the long run, it is beneficial for the project.

Well, it certainly reminded me that I had an unfinished email on a related subject sitting in my drafts folder.
So, while waiting for my 2.0-2.1 DB schema upgrade test to run, I finished writing the email and sent it.
