[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Wowbrary like Apps and Evergreen

I was wondering if anyone has done anything to create or uses some tool to
do what Wowbrary does in connection to Evergreen.

If you don't know Wowbrary it does some simple and basic things.  They
harvest data from the catalog to generate new books lists with some nice
enhanced features to promote the new content and also support patrons
subscribing to a newsletter where they will be emailed the list of new
titles.
