[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] Announcing an IRC practice time session on Wed, August 26 @ 3 PM EST

Hello everyone,

I was approached by a community member about hosting another hour long
IRC practice session for some of his library coworkers next week. The
goal being to get them involved in the community going forward. Of
course we will like others in the community to join in as well to
practice using IRC.

Therefore, the next IRC practice time for beginners will be next week,
on Wed, August 26 @ 3 PM EST.

Here is a copy of the IRC introduction presentation that covers all of
the basics...

In this presentation I postulate that if you…

1) have ever sent a text message

2) have a web browser

… you can pull off giving IRC a try for yourself.
