To be fair, the tools keep getting cooler and cooler, and Not Invented
Here is very real (I suspect we really didn't give Koha a fair shake
all those years ago).  EG's architecture has legs, though.  Even the
XUL staff client lasted as long as it did because we could incorporate
new and/or different technologies into it.

But people do tend to underestimate the problem when it comes to rewrites. :)
