[OPEN-ILS-GENERAL] [External] Re: Better option for cover art?

We used Syndetics previously and always had a good response for cover image corrections. It usually helped to describe what cover you were (or weren’t) seeing and provide a link to the correct image; that tended to speed correction time.

While we’re talking cover images: is anyone here using NoveList, and, if so, do you have a contact for getting cover image updates?

In the past, I have also had good response from Syndetics.

Also, I met a representative at NCLA this year from ChiliFresh ( https://home.chilifresh.com/en/products/book-jacket-cover-art<https://gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fhome.chilifresh.com%2Fen%2Fproducts%2Fbook-jacket-cover-art&data=02%7C01%7Cmstroup%40statelibrary.sc.gov%7Cb45062cc54a248c3091908d7af3c4100%7Ce9f8d01480d84f27b0d6c3d6c085fcdd%7C1%7C0%7C637170545643287898&sdata=18xmnYg0J1oxPkECZhzxKaqaVhRMzA0lwjzD82lkdqA%3D&reserved=0> ) . They provide discovery services and they also provide book jacket cover art for a flat annual rate as a standalone service. I don't have personal experience with them but it might be worth investigating.

Missouri Evergreen uses Syndetics and are pretty happy with them. I will say that if an email is sent about the artwork being incorrect, they aren't the most prompt at following through. However, the vast majority is correct.

Anyone here using Syndetics? If so, what are your thoughts?

Are there other tools you’d suggest for displaying cover art?
