_______________________________________________Hi,
Looking at https://git.evergreen-ils.org/?p=Evergreen.git;a=blob;f=Open-ILS/src/eg2/src/app/staff/cat/volcopy/copy-attrs.component.html;hb=38b073a3464b5cdee430dfb85d4eb80092c77ff2 I have noticed that line 9 reads:
<eg-string #olLabel text="Owning Library" i18n-text></eg-string>
The Owning Library is correctly translated while the other labels are not (with the exception of those from the first column like Barcode but it seems that a different code, beginning with <eg-batch-item-attr label="Barcode" i18n-label, is used for the first column).
It is just a guess but perhaps adding more lines (I mean like line 9 which probably makes the Owning Library show as translated) for the other labels would help (?).
(I am also attaching a screenshot from Blake’s server taken yesterday.)

Hi Eva,
Thanks for bringing up this topic! I believe it is a different issue. From what I can see, these terms are intended to come from the fm_IDL.xml file (which is translated in launchpad here: https://translations.launchpad.net/evergreen/3.15/+pots/fm-idl.dtd/cs/+translate)
I certainly see that these strings have been translated for some time in launchpad. I don't understand the process of how translated versions of the fm_IDL.xml are made available to the Angular client, it seems that something is not working well in that particular process. Does anybody else have some insights they could share on that?
Thank you,
-Jane

_______________________________________________Hi,
I would like to thank Stephanie very much for finding a solution to the bug 2042915 concerning column headers being displayed untranslated. At the same time, I have a question about an issue that might be related to this bug. On Blake's server (https://bugsquash.mobiusconsortium.org), I came across a problem that seems at least similar to me.
In the Item Attributes Editor (https://bugsquash.mobiusconsortium.org/eg2/cs-CZ/staff/cat/volcopy/attrs/item/), the names of some attribute fields are showing untranslated, e.g. Shelving Location, Circulating Library, Item Number on Volume, Call Number Label, Classification, Can Circulate, Is Holdable, etc. However, some are shown as translated. I checked whether the untranslated terms are available in the POEditor and since I couldn't find them there, I tried Git, but also unsuccessfully - actually I could not identify the source of these terms.I want to ask if you have any idea if this might be the same problem as the one with the display of translations for column headers, which will be resolved along with the bug 2042915 solution. Or do you think it is something else (in which case I would report a new bug)?Thank you very much for your help.
Eva
