I'd probably go to $3000 then. A lot also depends on your local policies - per diem vs. reimbursement, etc. I'm not sure what the registration will be, but it will likely be more than $250. On Wed, Jun 25, 2025 at 1:05 PM Kate Coleman <kcoleman@jeffcolib.org> wrote:
Between lodging, flights, and per diem, I'm up to $2,500 already and that doesn't include conference registration yet (hotel is understandably pricier in the Seattle area)!

Kate,
Speaking as someone who used to budget for face-to-face conferences, I would do a ballpark budget of $2500 to include hotel, transportation, registration, and food. A lot depends on when flights are booked. And whether registration is early bird or not.

I'm trying to find a ballpark price for budgeting purposes for an in-person conference (just for conference registration). I can't find any of my stuff from Worcester, so does anyone have any idea?
