[Evergreen-acq] EDI Ordering with Midwest Tape

Hi Christine,

I have never looked at this at all before, so I can't make any claim
whether it would work or not. Having said that, here's something to explore.

Looking at EDIWriter.pm, it looks like the first thing it looks for to use
as an identifier is if the EDI Attribute Set has
LINEITEM_IDENT_VENDOR_NUMBER enabled. If it does, then it looks to see "if
we have a vendor-specific lineitem identifier value". That led me to poking
around in the provider profile, and there *is* a tab for Attribute
Definitions. Filling out those fields looks kind of esoteric, so I went and
looked at Acquisitions>Line Item Marc Attribute Definitions. It doesn't
look like it's in stock EG, but in PINES we already had one set with these
values:

When you're setting it up in the Midwest provider profile, you want to set
it to be Is Identifier=Yes.

Good luck! I'd be interested in hearing how your testing goes, if you're
willing to report back.
