[Evergreen-dev] Evergreen January Monthly Maintenance Release Team

Hello all,

The Evergreen Development Community is scheduled to release updates for
Evergreen 3.14.3 and 3.13.8 on January 15. We are in need of individuals to
do some discrete tasks which will include (based on their preference) one
or more of the following:

   - prepare release notes
   - translations in Launchpad and POEditor
   - build/re-build tarballs (one for each version)
   - test the tarballs
   - upload "all the things" to the server

There is always a bit of a tight turnaround on the monthly releases, and
this one seems a little more so because of the holidays and end of year
shenanigans. If you are able and willing, please add your name/IRC handle
to the BuildMaster Coordination Worksheet (here
<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gZayHfF7qK0zwLMEAXt-PbKBMiAM_F6EZguqzIYceBY/edit?usp=sharing>)
in the appropriate cells for your chosen tasks for 3.13.8 and/or 3.14.3.

I have already scheduled a meeting for the monthly maintenance team for
next Wednesday, January 8 at 1 p.m. ET, 12 p.m. CT, 10 a.m. PT, for those
participating and available. As you sign up, I will send out invitations
with the meeting link.

Finally, if you have plans to merge patches/etc., please be aware that
there will be a merge pause going into effect at 7 p.m. ET, 6 p.m. CT, 4
p.m. PT on Monday, January 13.  We hope to be particularly efficient with
these releases to provide maximum time for patching prior to Community Bug
Squashing Week.
