I’m fine with you doing the announcing as the lead of the planning committee.  Just want you to be able to say it’s been approved on all levels.  You might leave the forward planning a bit open, saying that we’re looking at options to facilitate alternate programs yet this year for community building and education.  We’ll plan on talking more about a virtual conference/workshops.
