Today I received the attached IRS approval regarding Evergreen’s 1023 application. This letter will need to be provided to donor’s for tax deduction eligibility. If Evergreen has not already been doing so, Evergreen will now need to be prepared to file the applicable 990 for tax year 2020. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Karen,

Our form 1023 filing was submitted in March and we've been periodically checking on its status. Unfortunately, it appears to have been caught up in the general IRS backlog and we have no ETA from the IRS when we can expect approval or questions.

I will proceed with producing the grant report.

I just wanted to check in as we haven't heard anything back about the status of Evergreen's tax exempt status (and I don't see EP Corp listed on the IRS site). Do you have any updates? I believe we're coming up on the deadline for a grant report under the agreement, do you know when we might expect that?
