I want to thank Ruth Frasur, Chauncey Montgomery, and Carrie Curie for
helping me brainstorm a discussion about swag. I'm sending this so that
folks can review it before the meeting tomorrow.

In bullet point form:

Amazon Link on Website
  - not swag per se but again could generate revenue at no cost
  - could feature items of interest to the community
  - could be started ASAP

Cafe Press Store
  - hats, stickers, coffee mugs, posters, tshirts, cases (smart phones,
ereaders, laptop skins), bags
  - all of these would be dependent upon acceptable designs
  - these came up in discussion and / or are popular categories on cafe
press
  - cafe press (or zazzle) have the advantage of no investment other than
time, we don't have to put cash up front, keep inventory, handle shipping,
etc....
  - there was also the idea of using some of pinesol green's stored quotes
on some of the merchandise
  - could take samples to conference to raise awareness and maybe even have
a laptop there for placing orders

Bake Sale at Conference
  - a little old school but could be effective, especially on first day of
interest group meetings
  - may raise awareness of need as much as funds
  - contract issues with conference venue?
  - which baked goods

Silent Auction at Conference
  - would need donations of items
  - Kathy Lussier is looking at some kind of event at the Conference
already like a trivia night, would we oversaturate the conference at some
point?
  - other legal issues?
