I like Lori's wording for picking up the tshirt at conference. For the wording on shirt style, could be just call it a feminine cut or women's cut? Put me down for one of those, size S.

Lori—

I like your suggestions. I’m not sure about the mailing part, though. I wouldn’t mind doing it – it’s just getting the money to the SFC that would be a problem, I think. I suppose I could check with them on that.

And “for the ladies” – it really is a woman’s shirt – for a woman’s build. I didn’t want to lead anyone astray.

Amy,

What about a more positive take on the "you have to pick it up" part like

Not coming to the Conference but don't want to miss out on the shirt too? Find a buddy! We just need someone to pick up your shirt at the conference to save those extra shipping costs.

OR, we could just charge extra for people who want one shipped, e.g. $5.00 handling fee if you want us to ship it to you.

Also, I recommend removing "For the ladies" from the T-shirt description. Anyone who wants a scoop neck T should be able to choose a scoop neck T, right?

Hi all—

Mind reading through this and suggest any needed changes? Shall I say that the Board is selling the shirts? Didn’t know how else to explain it. Also, Steve Wills was working up a graphic to go along with this so that we could give an idea as to how the shirts would look.

Also note, the fitted T is going to cost us $11.95, plus $1.50 to the SFC, so we’re about breaking even on that shirt unless we increase that cost to $20. (The standard T is $7.95.)

Thanks in advance for your suggestions,

Amy

Planning on attending this year’s Evergreen Conference in Vancouver?

Interested in owning your very own Evergreen T-shirt?

Well then, don’t miss this limited time offer!

The Evergreen Oversight Board is selling two styles of Evergreen T-shirts, with proceeds going the Evergreen Project (a portion of the money goes to the Software Freedom Conservancy to help cover operating expenses).

Evergreen T-Shirt #1:

A white Gildan T, with the green Evergreen logo printed across the front

Sizes: S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL

$15

Evergreen T-Shirt #2 (for the ladies):

A white Bella T, fitted, with a scoop neck. Green Evergreen logo printed across the front

Sizes: S, M, L, XL, XXL

$15

Note: We need minimum orders for both styles of T-shirt. If we don’t make the minimum order for the shirt and size you’re interested in, we may need to cancel that order.

Right now we’re taking pre-orders. Payment will be expected at the Evergreen conference in Vancouver. We will have a table near the registration desk. CASH ONLY. Here’s the thing: if you’re not coming to the conference or can’t get someone to pick up your shirt at the conference, you can’t order a shirt.

HOW TO ORDER:

Send me an email ( terlaga at biblio.org ) and include your name, the type of shirt, number of shirts, and size(s) in the email. I will confirm receipt of email and later on, confirm that your order will be processed.

Don’t miss this opportunity! Deadline is Thursday, March 7 th !
